Terms of Use

This website is run by Grand Terrace Lions Club Charities, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (Entity No. 5950853), which operates the Grand Terrace Lions Club. By using gtlions.org you agree to what follows. If you do not, please do not use the site.
1. What this site is for
Telling people what the club does, when it meets, what is coming up and how to get involved. It is information, not advice, and nothing on it is an offer to enter into a contract.
Members also sign in here to run the club’s own business. That part of the site is for members and officers, and access to it is decided by the club.
2. Event details change
Times, places and dates move, and sometimes an event is cancelled at short notice. We correct this site as quickly as we can, but if you are travelling any distance for something, write to info@gtlions.org and check. We do not accept responsibility for a wasted journey.
Signing up for an event here tells the organisers to expect you. It does not reserve anything, and it is not a ticket.
3. The Lions name and emblem
“Lions”, “Lions Clubs International” and the Lions emblem are trademarks of Lions Clubs International. We use them as a chartered club, under the terms International sets. They are not ours to license, and nothing on this site gives you permission to use them.
The words and photographs on this site belong to the club or to the members who took them. You are welcome to link to any page, and to quote or share a page to tell somebody about what the club is doing. Please ask before republishing a photograph — members appear in them, and some of them are children.
4. What you send us
When you fill in a form here — an enquiry, an event sign-up, the community alerts list — you are asking the club to contact you about that thing, and you are telling us the details you give are your own and are correct.
What we do with them is set out in our privacy policy. Text messages have their own SMS terms.
5. Other people's websites
We link to Lions Clubs International, to our district, and to organisations the club works with. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.
6. No warranty
We put this site together carefully and keep it up to date, but we offer it as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or always be free of errors, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
8. Which law applies
California law, and the courts of San Bernardino County, California.
